Les parasurtenseurs Weidmüller VPU II protègent les installations basse tension et les appareils électroniques contre les surtensions provoquées par les décharges atmosphériques (orages) ou les commutations de puissance (transitoires) La série VPU II satisfait les exigences de type II et III, selon CEI 61643-11:2012, et de type II et III, selon EN 61643-11:2012.. Les parafoudres de rechange sont codés et peuvent être insérés uniquement dans les bases adaptées.
