100/ 500 kHz, SSI, 32-Bit Counter data width

The precise recording of pulses and positions is essential in highly dynamic automation. Weidmüller's u-remote counter modules are specially designed for these tasks and offer, among other things, a counter width of 32 bits and variants for different requirements.

The UR20-1CNT-100-1DO module processes frequencies up to 100 kHz and has configurable input signal filters as well as latch, gate, and reset inputs. This allows counting processes to be controlled externally. An additional digital output enables an event to be triggered immediately as soon as a preset comparison value is reached.

The UR20-1CNT-500 is available for particularly fast signals, recording frequencies up to 500 kHz. The UR20-2CNT-100 offers a compact solution for applications with two independent counting channels. All modules support the supply of connected sensors (up to 750 mA), feature reverse polarity protection, and offer diagnostic functions for maximum operational reliability.

With these functions, the counter modules enable precise detection of incremental and absolute encoders, support highly dynamic processes, and offer maximum flexibility for control and positioning tasks.
