Carichi capacitivi
I carichi con percentuale di carico capacitivo richiedono sempre requisiti estremi per i contatti di commutazione, indipendentemente dal tipo di tensione. Ciò vale in particolare per le lampade LED. Quando sono accese, causano picchi di corrente ad alta energia che possono raggiungere rapidamente più di 100 A e saldare il contatto. Ma i carichi con componenti capacitive non sono immediatamente riconoscibili ovunque. Possono inoltre essere nascosti in componenti generalmente assegnati a carichi induttivi, ad esempio valvole a solenoide e contattori con un precedente cablaggio effettuato per estendere il campo di tensione di ingresso. In questi circuiti precedenti i condensatori possono generare picchi di corrente fino a 150 A quando sono accesi. Ciò può anche causare la saldatura dei contatti o la distruzione dell’uscita.
